The August sun usually washes out colors at noon in Sacramento. But the city remains plagued by smoky skies from surrounding wildfires. Took this shot in a park where the light had to fight its way through a thick haze. This is one of those deals where the haze softens colors, making the photo more pleasing than the actual visual.
