The last time I was in Washington, D.C., Barak Obama was president, the Capitol was getting a structural facelift and I stood in the biting cold to take this photo. Today, at the Capitol Joe Biden will be sworn in as our new president (in about 40 minutes) while Kamala Harris will take the oath for vice-president, all while the man who delivered hate and divisiveness for four years is finally gone. It is a good day for humanity.
