Lot of crap happened yesterday, so I took a break and shot a photo of a Cabbagewhite Butterfly that appears to be dancing down a flower ballet style. Note that the left wing is damaged–didn’t affect the butterfly’s ability to flit about. The bad news is that an old coastal oak by the house is heavily diseased and cannot be saved. The arborist said it is the life cycle. This Cabbagewhite’s cycle is miniscule compared to a mighty oak. But like everything in life, there is a cycle and you have to make the best of it, even with a damaged wing.
