The red lights surrounding Congress appear more ominous to me than local traffic stops For one, armed guards are discreetly placed to respond to those who don’t heed entry signals and barricades while the lights themselves are clearly brighter than back home. That’s the U.S. Capitol Building in the distance–the lower structure houses mostly members of the U. S. Senate and their staff. STOP!
Tweets and cell phones have altered the political landscape. News and rumors travel at the speed of light. Facts have taken a beating. It is scary here. Scary everywhere.
We live in a very dangerous world and, with lunatics in office, it is even way more precarious.
