Yesterday at sunrise, I took this shot of a lone calla lily in the backyard. I looked at it with hope in this uncertain time of the coronavirus pandemic where life has been altered by avoiding crowds and washing hands throughout the day. I don’t know how this lily came to be in our yard, but it is here this morning and eventually at some point in the future, the bloom will fade away. Why would a “temporary” living plant provide hope? Well, it doesn’t on its own, rather it takes a human belief system to empower the emotion of hope. And I have it. Join me. Peace.
