A patch of blue has been the standard for weather this week over the western end of the Carmel River. Took this shot yesterday–those are brown pelicans flying overhead while the blue sky is out in Carmel Valley where temps are 20-degrees hotter. This photo with a combo of dark shadows and glare was quite a challenge for Lightroom. The original photo is below.
